RACE LOCATION: Sakonnet Greenway Trail The Glen - 121 Linden Lane Portsmouth, RI 02871
RACE DESCRIPTION: 5k Cross country style point-to-point course on nature trail, no major hills, boardwalks and bridges in some areas. Shuttle will return runners to the start. No dogs/strollers in running race.
RACE INFO: $20 (19 & over), $10 (18 & under)
Race Day Registration: $25 (19 & over), $15 (18 & under)
$50.00 Family Fee for up to 4 members living in the same household - mail in registration only (by 11-3); $60 on race day.
PRIZES: Male and female 14 & under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
1st place trophies to runners in all categories. All registered entrants will receive an environmentally friendly stainless steel water bottle.
DIRECTIONS: The start is at the beginning of the Sakonnet Greenway Trail, located next to the Brown House (which is actually yellow) at The Glen in Portsmouth, RI. The Glen entrance is on Route 138 between Union Street and Sandy Point Avenue. From East Main Road (138) turn onto Linden Lane, follow Linden Lane past the “Brown House”.
