RACE LOCATION: Cleary Lake Regional Park 18106 Texas Ave Prior Lake, MN 55372
RACE DESCRIPTION: This fast and mostly flat course is run on the grounds of beautiful Cleary Lake Regional Park, in Prior Lake. Most of the race is run on the paved paths around Cleary Lake, shaded by trees and cooled by the lake breezes. The 1,045-acre Cleary Lake Regional Park, southwest of Burnsville in Scott County, is one of the most popular year-round recreation spots in the southern metro area.
RACE INFO: Technical T-Shirt Giveaway: A free New Balance Technical race shirt will be given to every participant. These stylish performance shirts are constructed with moisture management fabric designed for wicking away sweat to keep you dry and comfortable.
Post Race Party: After the run, stick around in the park for some music, fun and complimentary beverages from favorite local brewing companies. Reward yourself for a job well done, celebrate with other runners and friends, and enjoy a Minnesota Summer Night!
Free parking will be available in the lots at Cleary Lake Regional Park.
Race day sign up and early Chip timing pick-up will be at ACCUA Advanced Training from 9:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m on Thursday, August 13th. (There will also be limited sign up and packet pick up at Cleary Lake Park from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm prior to the start of race.)
PRIZES: All participants will receive a special commemorative short sleeve t-shirt and a fantastic goodie bag full of treats and giveaways. Special prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female winner and unique awards will be given to fun categories like largest group, farthest traveled, most family members, etc.
DIRECTIONS: From I-35W, follow 185th St. west to County Road 27. Go south on 27 to the park entrance. From Highway 169, follow the Highway 13 exit (towards Savage). Take Highway 13 south, turn east on County Road 21, then south on County Road 27.
