RACE DESCRIPTION:
A 5k Road Race on a course measured by Ray Nelson. Proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics of South County, RI.

$20 ON-LINE THROUGH FRIDAY AT NOON
Sorry - no mail-in entries; $30 on Saturday and Sunday. T-shirts guaranteed to the first 800 entries.
NUMBER PICK-UP ON SATURDAY from 1-4pm in the Bean Town Room at The Mews. Get your race number and t-shirt and have a drink on us! Registration opens on Sunday from 10am at the Mews Tavern, 456 Main St., Wakefield, RI.
ON LINE REGISTRATION closes at NOON on Friday.


PRIZES:
CASH AWARDS to the top three men and women winners overall ($300, $200 and $100) and prizes to the top two men & women in the following age divisions: 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. No duplicate awards. Also, a huge raffle after the race of winter gear for your outdoor sporting needs. A bicycle calibrated loop course starting and finishing at The Mews Tavern. Course Records: Matt Pelletier 15:12 (’07) and Trish Hillery 18:08 (’05) $500 Course Record Bonus! (to be split if both records are broken)

DIRECTIONS:
From Route 1 North or South, take the Wakefield exit to Old Tower Hill Road which becomes Main Street. Follow Main Street through three traffic lights. The Mews is 1 ½ mile ahead on the left. PARKING: Parking is limited in the area of The Mews Tavern. Please – NO PARKING ALONG THE COURSE. Please do not park in the parking lots of the businesses that are open on Sunday. Additional parking is available at the South Kingstown High School, 215 Columbia Street (1 mile from The Mews), limited parking at Wakefield Elementary School, 101 High Street (.2 miles from The Mews), limited parking at the South Kingstown Elks Lodge, 60 Belmont Ave., or at Arnold Lumber Main St.(.3 miles from the Mews) See map for other parking locations.


ADDITIONAL INFO:
US Track & Field Association prohibits the use of baby joggers, strollers and headsets in road races for your safety and the safety of others. Athletes who do not comply subject themselves to disqualification.
