RACE LOCATION: Pelly's 19th Hole Quonset Point North Kingstown, RI 02852
RACE DESCRIPTION: Flat and fast loop around Quonset Point. USATF certified (measured by Ray Nelson).
PRIZES: First/second place man and woman: $150/$75 cash. Top two male/female in the following age categories: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. No duplicate awards.
DIRECTIONS: The race host is Pelly’s 19th Hole (home of the North Kingstown Golf Course) 615 Callahan Road, North Kingstown RI, 02852. Because of recent road construction, online map programs (like mapquest.com) may not produce accurate directions, therefore please use the following:
FROM PROVIDENCE
Take 95 south to exit 9(route 4 south). Take exit 7 off of route 4. Bear left off the exit onto route 403. Take left on Commerce Park and followed by a right on Callahan.
FROM CONNECTICUT
Take 95 north to exit 8(route 2 south). Take first left onto division street. Go 1/4 mile and turn right onto route 4 south. Take exit 7 off of route 4. Bear left off the exit onto route 403. Take left on Commerce Park and followed by a right on Callahan.
FROM NEWPORT
Go over the Newport and Jamestown Bridges. Take first exit off of Jamestown Bridge. Left off exit onto 1A north. Follow through Wickford and take right onto Route 1 north. From Route 1 take right onto Rt 403. Take left on Commerce Park and followed by a right on Callahan.
FROM SOUTH COUNTY
Follow Route 1 north through North Kingstown. From Route 1 take right onto Rt 403 east. Take left on Commerce Park and followed by a right on Callahan.
ADDITIONAL INFO: On site registration and early number pick up at Pelly’s on Friday evening, March 2nd, from 5:00pm-8:00pm
